Rocco

Saint Rocco is the patron saint of dogs, the falsely accused and against the plague. Rocco, also known as Roch, was born wealthy but became orphaned and went around giving his money to the poor. He devoted himself to victims of the plague and even got it himself.  Rocco was banished because of the plague and held up in a cave where he was visited by a dog that would bring him bread. After recovering, he returned home and was falsely accused of being a spy. His feast day is Auguest 16th. Buy a pendant or add on a chain to make it a necklace.
