Peter the Apostle

Saint Peter the Apostle is the patron saint of fisherman, shipbuilders, Popes and Rome. Simon, the brother of Saint Andrew, was a Bethsaida fisherman before he was called by Jesus next to the Lake of Gennesaret. Even though he was headstrong and rash, Christ renamed him Peter because he was to be the Rock of the Church. Peter was given the keys of the kingdom indicating he was to be the first Pope. His feast day is June 29th. Buy a pendant or add on a chain to make it a necklace. Get St. Peter medals in either sterling silver, gold-filled or 14kt solid gold all made in the USA and with lifetime guarantees.
