Francis Xavier
Saint Francis Xavier is the patron saint of missionaries, jewelers and sailors. Francis Xavier was a teacher in Paris where he befriended St. Ignatius of Loyola, completed his Spiritual Exercises and made a vow of poverty, chastity, and obedience. After being ordained a priest, he set sail for the East Indies, India and Japan where he was a missionary to may of the poor, sick and children. His feast day is December 3rd.
