Saint Jude Thaddeus is the patron saint of desperate and lost causes. Jude, also known as Thaddeus, was the brother of fellow apostle Saint James the Lesser and related to the Virgin Mary through his mother. He is turned to in desperate times because he stressed to the faithful in his Epistle that they should persevere in difficult times, just as their forefathers had done before them. His feast day is October 28th. Buy a pendant or add on a chain to make it a necklace. Get St. Jude medals in either sterling silver, gold-filled or 14kt solid gold all made in the USA and with lifetime guarantees.
